Summer has arrived, and with it comes wedding season.

Humans spend months planning one special day. There are flowers, photographs, speeches, and enough excitement to keep even a small dog like me busy. But after the confetti settles and the thank-you cards are written, something wonderful begins: a new chapter.

One of my favourite things about life at SilverBirch is watching generations grow together. Many of the newlyweds entering this exciting stage of life aren’t strangers to the team. Some have been part of the SilverBirch family since they were in grade school, accompanying their parents to meetings, sharing stories about school, sports, and their dreams for the future. Now they’re building lives of their own.

As weddings bring two families together, there are often important conversations and practical details to organize. Behind the scenes, the team at SilverBirch helps families navigate these milestones, ensuring important details aren’t overlooked. Because of the relationships built with their parents over many years, SilverBirch is privileged to offer a Next Generation Program exclusively for our clients' children and grandchildren.

From where I sit, that’s one of the most special parts of what happens here. It’s not just about helping one generation it’s about watching family stories continue for generations to come.
