The Inside Scoop with Luna for April 2026
As overheard from my basket beside Vanessa Benedict, Wealth Advisor & Portfolio Manager
Every Easter, I watch humans very closely. They hide eggs everywhere: behind trees, under bushes, tucked into corners that don’t always make much sense. And every year, without fail, someone says, “Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.”
It’s good advice, especially when we’re talking about what matters most. Spreading things out can be wise. Having eggs in different places can help protect them when something unexpected happens.
But here’s what I’ve noticed. Sometimes the eggs aren’t placed with intention at all. They’re just scattered, different spots, different hands, and no one really watching the whole garden. When that happens, eggs overlap, some get forgotten, and others quietly roll somewhere they were never meant to be.
A well-organized Easter hunt looks very different. The eggs are placed with care.
Someone knows where they are, and the whole yard is being watched. That’s when everything works the way it should.
So maybe the real question isn’t how many baskets you have. Maybe it’s whether someone sees the whole picture. Because in the end, the most important thing isn’t just where the eggs are. It’s having someone you trust to help protect the whole nest.
Until next time, Luna 🐾
